To reward teams who make the effort to support the class and the regattas that will make a key difference to the Australian Fleet, Oceanburo will provide a shipping assistance as follows :
Teams attending 4 of the 5 regattas marked with a double asterix in the program , being
o 2012 Victorian Championships
o 2012 Australian Championships
o 2012 Qld Championships
o 2012 NSW Championships
o Audi Hamilton Island Race Week 2012
Will receive at registration at the 2012 SB3 World Championships at Hamilton Island , a new SB3 Jib.
The Jib will carry a sponsors decal in the lower section not bigger than 1000mm x 250mm which must be carried at the Worlds.
This assistance is effectively AUD $1620.00 inc gst per boat so mimics the level of subsidy offered to the overseas teams attending. This arrangement is only available to teams whose crew members are all fully paid up members of ISFA at all regattas. Teams wishing access to the subsidy will be required to submit a request in January 2012 prior to the Victorian States at Geelong.
For those teams who do wish to make use of the circuit nature of the program , storage at Mooloolaba is able to be arranged at an very effective cost , in a locked compound. This should make the transit north simpler.
