Daily Pre Race Checklist for SB3
Please make sure all items are checked at the end of every race day and before the first race day
-Check all batten pockets especially after windy race day for tears
-Check the tack line for wear at the exit point of the pole
-Place a knot into the pole out line so the pole stops retracting about 100mm before solar panel
-Place a bungee preventer between the D1' or baby stays at Nav strap hight to prevent kite jamng durin hoist
-Check that the kite block Shackle on top of the mast is tight and taped up befor the rig goes up
-Make sure youplace a windindicator on top of the mast before it goes up
-Check the mainsheet block assembly for wear and tear, please see Oceanburo website under "preventativ maintenance"
-Check the rudder gungean bolts on the inside of thehull. Access through stern inspection cap, do this daily!!
-Check the bolts on the rudder blade, if any of these or the above come loose you risk the rudder snapping
-Make sure you cary the necessary sefaty gear for victoria, this list can be found on Oceanburo Website under SB 3 Spares
-Prepare the following tools: 2 medium screw dirvers one flat one philips, two medium shifters, a PT1 Loosa Gauge, an electrical screw driver, three rolls of electrical tape, some sail repair tape, spare shackles and pins
-Make sure you check the boom vang assembly shackles and pullies for wear and tear
-Remove the three inspection caps in the stern of the boat to let ot dry out inside if there is no threat of rain
-Make sure you regularly check that the Gennaker Turtle Bag screws are tight, this can cause issues when hoisting kite
